About the Authors
Bridget Hanna
is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at Harvard University where she has published numerous papers on Bhopal. She worked on the Bhopal Reader as a researcher at the Bard College Human Rights project in Annandale-in-Hudson, New York
Ward Morehouse
is the founder and current Trustee of the Council on International and Public Affairs (CIPA), co-founder of the Program on Corporations, Law and Democracy (POCLAD), author of many publications, co-author of The Bhopal Tragedy and Abuse of Power, and is the publisher of Apex Press, the publishing arm of CIPA and the Bhopal Library. He is a former Research Associate at the School of International and Public Affairs at Colombia Univerisity and has written extensively on the social impact of technology in the Third World. A human rights activist, he has been arrested for opposing the war against Iraq and opposing globalization in the Seattle protest of 1999. He was a co-founder of the International Coalition for Justice in Bhopal and housed the Bhopal Research Center in the CIPA offices in New York.
Satinath Sarangi
is founder and managing trustee of the Sambhavna Clinic which provides health care for the Bhopal survivors. He moved to Bhopal immediately after the disaster and has been a supporter and leader for the victims' international protest ever since.
